Being a yoga teacher means being of service, facilitating an experience for students, and sharing what we love about this practice in the best way we know. We have the potential to inspire, educate, foster growth, deepen curiosity and support insight. This three day immersion will explore practical teaching techniques to aid us in doing that:
Day one - Communication: language, cueing & demonstration
Day two - Sequencing: purpose, clarity, creativity & beyond the peak pose
Day three - Evolving: defining success, clarifying USPs & teaching beyond drop in classes
Each day will include a morning yoga practice, lectures and discussion topics related to the content, practice teaching and feedback, safe and open discussions with other teachers, and opportunities to look at challenges and find strategies to overcome them. A manual and worksheets will be provided but feel free to bring your own notepad.
This three day workshop is open to anyone who has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program, ideally has at least six months of teaching experience, and an interest in teaching yoga with greater skill and refinement. Attendance of the three days qualifies you for 20 hours CPD with Yoga Alliance.
Price: £225 until 30th November, £260 after. £80 deposit to secure place.
