FAQS

Is the training Yoga Alliance certified?

Yes it is. The training is certified by Yoga Alliance US so should you wish to register with YA as an RYT 200 (registered 200hr yoga teacher) with them after the course has finished, you can.

I am concerned my practice isn’t strong enough, do you think I am ready to do the course?

We care more about your willingness to relate to others and your enthusiasm to learn than the physical depth of your yoga postures. So long as you have a regular practice, are familiar with the foundational shapes, and are committed to learning more about yoga, then that is more important.

What do I need to do to prepare for the training?

The main things you prepare for the training is an open mind and a willingness to learn. You will receive a reading and podcast list upon sign up of the training which you don’t have to fully complete before it starts. Work through it at your own pace before, during and after the course. Keep practicing yoga regularly as you have been, and try out different classes and teachers if you can so you get a feel for different styles. But let it fit into your life!

I am pregnant, can I do the training?

Absolutely. Your teacher is specialist pregnancy trained and you can still partake in the practices. By the end of the course you will learn how to confidently adapt your yoga practice for both yourself and also pregnant students in general classes.
